Sheila Tennant Awards at Dundee West Church in the spirit of Mary Slessor.

In the Sheila Tennant Awards in the spirit of Mary Slessor,  we pay tribute to two enlightened and creative women who trusted humanity to deliver progress. Sheila Tennant was an intelligent, creative woman of faith and she made a bequest to Dundee West Church in support of its work with the community. The awards are her legacy. Mary Slessor was a dynamic inspiration for down to earth grass-roots Christianity and for those who wanted to do things a bit differently. She was not afraid of change or grasping opportunity.

Sunday Services

Everyone is most welcome to join us as we meet together each Sunday at 10.30am for worship.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a worshiping Christian Community at the heart of Dundee that is bible-based, prayerful and alive in Christ, that attracts others to follow Jesus through our caring approach to others around us.

Welcome to The Steeple Church

The Steeple Church is located at the heart of Dundee’s city centre. We are only a few minutes away from shopping centres, varied cultural attractions, leisure facilities, hotels, and the City Square.

Dundee is rightly known as ‘the city of discovery’. As a church we also embrace this vision as we seek to discover God’s love and truth for us. We want to discover God’s purpose for us in a city community as well as discovering God’s leading in our personal lives. We are learning what it means to follow Jesus and we are doing so thoughtfully, prayerfully, and joyfully.

Services

Sunday morning services are at 10.30am. For further details visit the Sunday page.

The Steeple Church is a congregation of The Church of Scotland.
